Talking Sea Glass on CBC’s Maritime Noon

Talking Sea Glass on CBC’s Maritime Noon

This week I had the absolute pleasure of joining Bob Murphy on CBC’s Maritime Noon this week for a call-in show all about sea glass! I went into the studio and sat alongside Mike, the Sea Glass Archaeologist, and together we chatted about the magic of sea glass in the Maritimes.

Listeners from across the region called in to share their stories — including two from right here in Louisbourg! It was so much fun to talk about the treasures that can be found on our beaches and to shine a spotlight on Louisbourg as a must-visit destination for sea glass lovers.

For me, sea glass isn’t just something you discover on the shore — it’s a piece of history, smoothed by the ocean, carrying stories of the past. That same feeling of coastal calm and discovery inspired me to create my Sea Glass Season Candle. It’s a clean-burning soy candle with fresh, coastal notes that capture the magic of walking the beach in search of hidden gems.
